Dogs

This is a great holiday location for dogs (and their owners!) with miles of rugged beaches and hills to wander, plus the shallow stream just outside the gate to splash around in, and plenty of friendly pubs in the area. The house itself is in an extremely quiet and remote location: perfect for a getaway with your dog!

At Ty Capel Carmel we're very happy to welcome your dog with you on holiday. The lower part of the house has hard, easy to clean flooring, and the open-plan living area is ideal for your dog to relax with the family. 

We allow two dogs per booking as standard, but please contact us if you would like to bring more as we may be able to accommodate this. Additionally, if you have a young dog, please contact us about this in advance of booking. We may ask for an additional security deposit for multiple or young dogs. 

Our garden is enclosed but isn't guaranteed to be fully secure, especially for larger dogs. From time to time there are cattle and sheep freely grazing outside, so you'll need to keep your dog under control.

It's no secret that Wales can be wet! And of course, sandy and muddy. We do ask that dog owners please be careful and make sure their dog is clean and dry before going into the carpeted areas.

We supply a cordless vacuum with a pet tool to keep on top of any particularly hairy hounds. We also have a spare dog bowl, blankets and lead at the house in case of forgotten items. We suggest owners bring their own dog beds or crates, plus a few old dog towels for the inevitable rub downs.
